Duties of a Warehouse Logistics Specialist (Apprenticeship)
What to expect when you join us
- Goods Receiving and Storage
You inspect incoming shipments, enter all products into the system, and ensure that our chemical products are stored safely and efficiently. - Order Picking and Shipping
You will assemble orders and ensure that the correct products are ready for shipment. You will work with precision and pitch in where needed. - Production and Packaging
You will also assist in production, for example by preparing raw materials, filling and labeling containers, and packaging products. This will teach you how our chemical raw materials are safely processed and prepared for shipment. - Workplace Safety and Hazardous Materials
You’ll learn how to handle chemical products safely, comply with regulations, and ensure safe working conditions. Safety is our top priority. - Teamwork and Communication
You’ll work hand in hand with your warehouse team and the scheduling department. Together, you’ll plan processes and ensure that everything is in the right place at the right time.
Requirements for the Warehouse Logistics Specialist Training Program
- At least a secondary school diploma; a high school diploma is also welcome
- Interest in logistics and working with chemical products
- Enjoyment of hands-on tasks and organization
- Spatial reasoning skills and a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, and a sense of responsibility
- A careful and conscientious work ethic
