Tasks during professional driver training
What to expect when you join us
- Vehicle Operation and Technology
You’ll learn how to safely operate our trucks and what technical aspects are important. Our experienced team will teach you everything you need to know so that you can drive the vehicles independently later on. - Transport and Safety Regulations
You’ll learn the rules governing the transport of chemical products and how to secure loads properly. You’ll also learn how to handle all the important documents involved in fleet operations. - Varied Tasks
Loading, unloading, planning routes, and driving. You’ll be involved from the start and pitch in right away. No two days are the same here. - ADR certification included
We’ll also train you to become a hazardous materials expert. With your ADR certification, you’ll have a valuable additional qualification and will be authorized to transport even more hazardous goods. - Communication and teamwork
You’ll work closely with the dispatch and warehouse teams. Nothing gets done here without good coordination.
Professional Driver Training Requirements
- Class B driver’s license (or willingness to obtain one)
- You must be at least 17 years old
- At least a 10th-grade diploma
- Interest in technology and vehicles
- Sense of responsibility and punctuality
- Team spirit and a service-oriented attitude
- Calm and composed, even when things get stressful

How long does it take to become a professional driver?
What are the requirements for training to become a professional driver?
You must have at least a high school diploma (after 10th grade) and should be at least 17 years old. Reliability, a sense of responsibility, and an interest in vehicles and technology are very important. Ideally, you should already have a Class B driver’s license or be willing to obtain one immediately.
Do I have to pay for the C/CE driver's license myself, or will Möller Chemie cover the costs?
What does the training program for professional drivers involve?
During your training, you’ll learn much more than just how to drive a truck. You’ll learn how to load and unload goods, secure cargo, inspect vehicles for roadworthiness, and properly prepare for routes. You’ll work closely with dispatch and the warehouse and gain a solid understanding of the rules and responsibilities involved in transporting chemical products. Additionally, you can also earn your ADR certification with us. This will qualify you to safely transport hazardous materials.
