CM-W-DINCH
Properties of CM-W-DINCH
CM-W-DINCH is based on 1,2-cyclohexanedicarboxylic acid diisononyl ester, DINCH, an aliphatic ester. DINCH is characterized by particularly low volatility, resulting in very low emissions into indoor air. Its migration behavior is also favorable, making CM-W-DINCH particularly suitable for contact-sensitive applications. A key advantage is that DINCH is classified as neither genotoxic, carcinogenic, nor teratogenic.
Applications of CM-W-DINCH
During production, a mixture of isomers is formed, which is used as a plasticizer specifically for sensitive applications, including children’s toys, medical devices, and plastic food packaging.
CM-W-DINCH serves as a substitute plasticizer for phthalates and is increasingly used in household products as well as building products such as flooring and wallpaper.
