Isoparaffins

Properties of Isoparaffins

Our product range includes isoparaffin types with flash points ranging from below 0 °C to over 100 °C. Thanks to their mild, pleasant odor combined with high solvent power, isoparaffins serve as an alternative to more odor-intensive hydrocarbons. Additional advantages include rapid evaporation, good drying properties, easy processing, and reliable wetting. Upon request, we develop custom formulations, for example to optimize evaporation behavior, as an alternative to existing product solutions. We source our isoparaffins from Europe and the Far East, thereby ensuring long-term, reliable availability.

Uses of Isoparaffins

Isoparaffins serve as solvents for pigments, polymers, adhesives, waxes, and fats.

In the laundry, cleaning, and textile industries, isoparaffins are used as cleaning agents. They are also suitable for degreasing metals and for use in cold cleaners.

Isoparaffins serve as carrier substances for fungicides and herbicides and are used as extraction agents for fats.

Furthermore, isoparaffins play an important role in the lubricant and automotive industries.
